About the ANA

The American Nyckelharpa Association is a non-profit corporation for the preservation and fostering of the nyckelharpa (sometimes called the Swedish Key Fiddle). We will conduct educational programs and activities to promote knowledge of and interest in the nyckelharpa and the traditional music of the nyckelharpa. We shall endeavor to provide competent instruction in playing the nyckelharpa, in the traditional music, and in the traditional dance associated with the music.

Support Nyckelharpa (and Scandinvian folk music) in America. Whether or not you actually live in America, you can join the ANA. We have many international members, and everyone receives the same benefits.

Your annual membership dues include a subscription to Nyckel Notes, our quarterly newsletter (delivered digitally, or by snail mail for a higher fee). You will also be entitled to discounts on strings available through our web site. Most importantly, as a member of the ANA you will be supporting an organization that strives to educate and excite people about the nyckelharpa and its music. More Details
