About the ANA
The American Nyckelharpa Association is a non-profit corporation for the preservation and fostering of the nyckelharpa (sometimes called the Swedish Key Fiddle). We will conduct educational programs and activities to promote knowledge of and interest in the nyckelharpa and the traditional music of the nyckelharpa. We shall endeavor to provide competent instruction in playing the nyckelharpa, in the traditional music, and in the traditional dance associated with the music. View our by-laws | Projects & goals
Download our flier
Here's a small informational flier we use to promote the ANA and the nyckelharpa. It's set up to be copied double-sided and cut in half -- it's 5.5 by
8.5 inches. Make sure you don't copy the back side upside-down!

Become a Member
Support Nyckelharpa (and Scandinvian folk music) in America. Whether or not you actually live in America, you can join the ANA. We have many international members, and everyone receives the same benefits.
Your annual membership dues include a subscription to NyckelNotes, our quarterly newsletter
(delivered digitally or by snail mail for a slightly higher fee). You will be entitled to discounts on CDs, strings, and books available through our web site. As a service to our members and fellow nyckelharpa aficionados, we strive to make available a selection of items which are difficult to get a hold of outside Sweden. And most important, as a member of the ANA you will be supporting an organization that strives to educate and excite people about the nyckelharpa and its music.
