So, what is a nyckelharpa? One of the greatest instruments ever, if you ask us. You might run across it under a different name, like the Swedish key fiddle, keyed fiddle, nickleharpa, or perhaps even fiddle harpa. What they all come down to is an instrument with a certain body type, lots of strings, and a short bow to release the resonating tones.
